Kredoo vs Zoho CRM vs HubSpot: An Honest Comparison for Indian Sales Teams

We built Kredoo, so read this with that in mind. It is still a fair comparison: what each CRM costs a five-person team in rupees, how each handles WhatsApp and ad leads, and the cases where Zoho or HubSpot is simply the better choice.

We built Kredoo, so you should read this knowing that. We also build automation on top of existing CRMs for clients, HubSpot among them, and for plenty of businesses we recommend staying where they are. This is the comparison we give people on scoping calls, written down.

The short version: Zoho is the best all-rounder if you want one vendor for sales, accounts and support. HubSpot is the best choice if marketing is the engine of your business and you can afford its upper tiers. Kredoo is for teams whose sales start with an ad lead and end with a WhatsApp conversation, and who want that working this week rather than after a configuration project.

The three products are not trying to be the same thing

Most comparison tables line up features as though every CRM is aiming at the same target. These three are not.

  • Zoho CRM is one part of a very large suite - Books, Desk, Campaigns, Analytics and dozens more - from a company headquartered in Chennai. Its strength is breadth and customisation. You can make it do almost anything, provided someone configures it.
  • HubSpot started as marketing software and built its CRM around that. Its strength is the connection between content, email marketing, the website and the sales pipeline, wrapped in the most polished interface of the three.
  • Kredoo is narrower on purpose. It is built around one sales motion: a lead arrives from a Meta or Google ad, gets an instant reply on WhatsApp, is followed up automatically until it responds, and books a call. Everything else is secondary.

So the useful question is not which CRM is best. It is which of those three shapes your sales process most resembles.

What it costs a five-person team

Pricing is where the structural difference shows most clearly, because Zoho and HubSpot charge per user and Kredoo does not.

Zoho CRM

At the time of writing, Zoho's Indian list prices, billed annually, are roughly ₹800 per user per month for Standard, ₹1,400 for Professional and ₹2,400 for Enterprise, with 18% GST on top. Monthly billing costs noticeably more. There is a free edition for up to three users, but it is limited and does not include the WhatsApp integration.

For five people on Professional, which is where most growing teams end up, that is about ₹7,000 a month before tax. The price is reasonable. The cost people underestimate is configuration: Zoho rewards a partner or an in-house admin who sets up layouts, workflows and blueprints properly, and many Indian businesses pay an implementation partner for exactly that.

HubSpot

HubSpot's free CRM is genuinely good and is the best free option of the three. Sales Hub Starter is inexpensive per seat. The jump comes at Professional, which is where sequences, serious automation and most of what a growing sales team wants actually live. At that tier HubSpot is priced in dollars per seat per month rather than hundreds of rupees, and Professional plans have historically carried a one-time onboarding fee as well.

The detail that catches Indian teams out is WhatsApp. HubSpot's own documentation lists connecting WhatsApp to the inbox as available with Marketing Hub or Service Hub, Professional or Enterprise. Sales Hub alone, at any tier, does not include it. If WhatsApp is your main sales channel, you are buying a second hub at its professional tier to get it.

Kredoo

Kredoo has a single plan at a flat monthly price with unlimited team members, so a five-person team and a fifteen-person team pay the same. The plan includes the WhatsApp Business number, the Instagram inbox, automation flows and booking links rather than selling them as add-ons. There is a 14-day free trial, no setup fee, and it does not auto-renew: you pay for a term, and it reminds you before the term ends. Current pricing is on kredoo.in/pricing.

The cost that applies to all three

WhatsApp messages sent through the official Business Platform are billed by Meta, per message, whichever CRM sends them. Marketing messages cost more than utility messages, and GST applies. Any comparison that leaves this out is understating the running cost of a WhatsApp-led sales process, whichever tool you pick.

WhatsApp: built in, connected, or bought separately

For most Indian sales teams this matters more than anything else in the comparison, because it is where the conversations actually happen.

  • Zoho CRM has a native WhatsApp Business integration in its trial and paid editions. It works well once set up, but setup expects you to arrive with a verified Meta Business account and a WhatsApp Business API number already in place, and an administrator has to do it.
  • HubSpot connects WhatsApp to its conversations inbox, with the subscription requirement described above.
  • Kredoo treats WhatsApp as the primary channel rather than an integration. WhatsApp and Instagram messages arrive in one shared team inbox, attached to the lead record, and follow-up sequences stop automatically when the lead replies.

That last behaviour matters more than it sounds. A follow-up that keeps sending after the customer has answered is the fastest way to make automation feel like spam. We covered why in why speed beats persistence in lead follow-up.

Getting ad leads in

If you spend on Meta or Google lead ads, the gap between the form being submitted and a person or system responding is where the money goes. We have written about that gap in detail in our piece on auto-capturing Meta Ads leads.

  • HubSpot handles this well. Its ads tools sync Facebook and Google lead forms into the CRM directly.
  • Zoho can do it through Zoho Social or through connectors such as Zapier or Make. It works, but it is one more thing to set up, pay for and monitor.
  • Kredoo connects to Meta and Google once, and new leads appear in the pipeline within seconds, ready for the first WhatsApp message to go out automatically.

Where Zoho is the better choice

  • You want one vendor for everything. If invoicing in Zoho Books, support tickets in Zoho Desk and the CRM all need to share data, nothing else here comes close.
  • Your process is complex and unusual. Custom modules, approval blueprints, territory rules, multi-currency, detailed role hierarchies. Zoho can model it. Kredoo deliberately does not try.
  • You have an admin. Zoho is at its best with someone who owns its configuration. Without that person it tends to drift into a database nobody trusts.

Where HubSpot is the better choice

  • Marketing drives your pipeline. If leads come mainly from content, SEO, webinars and email nurture rather than paid lead forms, HubSpot's marketing and sales tools working together are its real advantage.
  • You sell internationally, mostly over email. HubSpot's assumptions fit a US or European buyer very well. That is not a weakness, just a different market.
  • You are starting from nothing and want free. The free CRM is a sensible place to begin, provided you know where the paid tiers start.

Where Kredoo is the better choice

  • Paid ads are your main lead source and response speed decides whether you win the deal. Real estate, education, healthcare, coaching and local services are the clearest fits.
  • Your customers reply on WhatsApp, not email, and your team works from their phones.
  • Your team is growing and per-seat pricing is starting to decide who gets access to the CRM. Flat pricing means the person answering enquiries on a Saturday gets a login too.
  • You want it working this week. The basic setup takes minutes, not a configuration project.

Where Kredoo is not the right answer

A comparison written by a vendor should say this part clearly.

  • It is a young product and still in public beta. Zoho and HubSpot have well over a decade of edge cases behind them.
  • It has no accounting, help desk or marketing suite attached. If you need those connected to sales, Zoho or HubSpot will serve you better.
  • Reporting and customisation are deliberately simpler. Long, committee-driven enterprise sales with heavy forecasting needs a different kind of tool.
  • The plan includes one WhatsApp Business number. A business running several brands or branches on separate numbers should check that against its setup first.

How to decide in an afternoon

Write down where your last twenty leads came from and which channel each one replied on. If most came from paid ads and replied on WhatsApp, try the free Kredoo demo on WhatsApp, then connect your ad account the same day. You will know within a week whether it fits. If they came from your website, content and email, try HubSpot's free CRM. If your problem is less about leads and more about connecting sales to invoicing and support, talk to a Zoho partner.

And if you are already on Zoho or HubSpot and the real complaint is that leads arrive late or follow-ups get missed, you may not need to switch at all. Our guide to choosing a CRM for an Indian sales team explains how to tell an intake problem from a fit problem, and we regularly build that intake layer on top of CRMs our clients keep.
